1. A Vacuum pulls the air out of the treatment vessel
stage 2
2. The preservative fills the vessel
stage 3
3. The treatment vessel is pressurised forcing the preservative deep into the wood
stage 4
4. The preservative is removed and a final vacuum applied to remove excess
